Currency
The currency is the Dong or VND.

Administrations and public utilities generally open from 7.30 AM to 11.30 AM and from 1.30 PM to 4.30 PM.
Transportation
Road
Vietnam has a significant bus network, but be aware that you will have no place, mechanical breakdowns are frequent as well as collisions, the country does not have any first aid service, roads are not lit and have often large potholes and collapsed bridges. There are however Japanese or Korean buses, modern and comfortable, for long distances.
Rail

The official language of Vietnam is Vietnam Ian. Minorities, representing 15% of the total population, have conserved their mother tongue.
