Employment contracts


Employment contracts are regulated by Law. Collective agreements and individual negotiations complement it.
The terms of employment contracts are extremely rigid. The limits for dismissal and the conditions for hiring are rather flexible.

National monthly minimum wage as of 01/01/2003 : US$ 147.43 (200.5 dinars) monthly for industrial sector and $4.45 (6.059 dinars) daily for agricultural sector
