Further to recent incidents, it should be pointed out that the Polish are not authorized to drive vehicles that are registered abroad and that do not belong to them. In case of a police control, the owner will have to get his car back, after payment of a fee.The road infrastructure is quite poor (damaged roads, pot-holes, bad marking, poor enlightment, high speed roads crossing small cities, important number of pedestrians and horses traffic).
