Therefore, New Zealand can be considered as a country which is completely bilingual. English is the main language which is used by the majority of the population and in public life. Indeed, 92% of New Zealanders speak English as their mother tongue. It is also important to note that there are natives in New Zealand called the Maoris who usually speak Maori. Finally, let's note that very few Maoris only speak Maori. Indeed, the large majority of them know English or are completely bilingual.
