Languages spoken


The official language of Morocco is Arabic. However, 60% of the population speaks the Moroccan Arabic and 30% to 40% speaks Berber which can be considered as what was formerly Egyptian. Otherwise, it is important to note that French is the second language of the country and is frequently used in public life. Finally, Spanish is also spoken in the north of the country.
