Agriculture
Spain is one of the most important agricultural producers in the mediteranean zone, in spite of important physical and sociocultural constraints. Regions where agriculture remains very important are mainly Andalusia, Murcia, Estremadoura, the two Castillas, Rioja, Galicia and Navarra. With Denmark, Spain has the biggest fishing fleet of the European Union. The fishing industry has been going through a sharp growth for ten years with opportunities in ready-made meals and smoked fishes. Fishing products represent the first position of the farm-produce purchases in Spain. |
