Languages spoken

Since July of 1998, the official language of Algeria has been Arabic. However, the majority of Algerians speak dialectal Arabic. Although Arabic is the official language of Algeria, the berber language, also called Tamazight, is also spoken all over the country and is starting to be used more and more. Finally, it is important to note that French is still used by lots of Algerians.
