Currency
The currency is the Canadian dollar (CAD), 1 dollar = 100 Canadian cents
The following credit cards are usually accepted: American Express, Dinners Club, Mastercard and Visa. The credit companies automatically take a percentage for any exchange transactions. Traveler's checks are a sure and practical means to carry money. All sticker-prices are before tax, including in restaurants.

Road
Good road network. Visiting drivers, who are not familiarised with certain rules (different from ours) of both road traffic and parking in Canada are advised to get a local highway code.
Air
Daily flights are numerous and usually punctual, except when weather conditions are bad. In Quebec, several companies ensure domestic connections between the most important cities.
